RE

Subject Leader: Mrs. Louise Figgins

Porthleven Primary School aims to provide safe opportunities for all children to learn and to achieve, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or ability.

The school curriculum aims to promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development and to prepare them for the experiences of life. We believe that every child should feel they belong in our school community, fostering a sense of inclusion and unity.

As part of their growth, students are taught to be responsible for their actions, both in school and in the wider world. Our aim is that all pupils will learn the importance of respect, kindness, and perseverance in building meaningful relationships.

Through our teaching of RE, pupils can recognise the responsibilities they have toward others and their community, supporting British values.
